IEDat Background and Qualifications

Kathleen E. Moore, Ph.D. has more than 20 years experience in forest research, including over 16 years researching the interaction of forests and other biological systems with the atmosphere. She has academic degrees in forest biology, plant pathology and atmospheric science. Her field experience has spanned North America and tropical regions. She is author and co-author of many scientific articles and has been an associate editor of the Southern Journal of Applied Forestry. Dr. Moore has received grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, DOE and other agencies.

In addition to operating Integrated Environmental Data, Dr. Moore is an adjunct faculty member at Hudson Valley Community College. She is a member of the American Meteorological Society, the American Solar Energy Society, the American Wind Energy Association, and the American Geophysical Union.
